This one really hit home, and at the same time, helped me acknowledge the depth of my own evolution.
While spending time trying to understand certain esoteric, intellectual concepts can be both rewarding and difficult, it’s also primarily safe and requires relatively little courage or vulnerability.
But experiential understanding is an entirely different beast. To step into unknown spaces, experiences or ideas fueled primarily by faith and trust while allowing your insecurities, vulnerabilities and lack of understanding to join the ride… well THAT is the place where we can take the evolutionary leap between knowledge and wisdom.
As someone who used to thrive on “understanding” and who was always thirsting for knowledge, I have learned through my own journey what a comfort zone this actually was, and more importantly, that what you receive intellectually will assist you only up until the point where it gets in the way.
And it will.
At some point everything you think you know and understand, or what you desire to understand, must be relinquished to create space for the higher truths to step in. Truths beyond what the human mind can comprehend.
Then, your intellect becomes a powerful tool, but it is your intuition that begins to take over and steer the course. And that’s when the real magic begins.
Because the mind is colored and flavored by countless external circumstances and inputs, skewing the vision of “truth.” But your intuition comes directly from your connection to source… and it will never misinform, misguide or steer you in any direction other than where your higher, divine self, your soul essence, is yearning and destined to go. 🤍
